The incumbent should be an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Merchandising Manager to lead & develop our Walmart account operations. This role requires end-to-end oversight of merchandising activities, ensuring compliance with Walmart’s stringent standards (e.g., OTIF, ethical sourcing) and driving seamless coordination between cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in managing high-volume Walmart orders, maintaining strong client relationships, and optimizing processes to deliver excellence in quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end merchandising operations for Walmart orders, from order confirmation to final shipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to Walmart’s ethical, social, and quality compliance standards (e.g., FCPA, SLAs).
- Collaborate with design, production, procurement, and logistics teams to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular audits and prepare documentation for Walmart’s compliance reviews.
- Analyze Retail Link data to monitor sales performance, forecast trends, and align inventory with demand.
- Negotiate costs, lead times, and MOQs with suppliers to maximize profitability.
- Maintain seamless communication with Walmart’s sourcing, technical, and compliance teams.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Mentor and lead a team of merchandisers to achieve departmental goals.
