Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Trading or Export/Import, Shipping, Engineering Firms, Real Estate, Group of Companies, Cement Industry

Responsibilities & Context

  • Assisting the procurement manager in developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies and procedure
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
  • Negotiating contracts, prices, terms and conditions with suppliers and vendors
  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders, invoices and other documents
  • Monitoring and tracking the delivery and quality of goods and services
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock availability
  • Resolving any issues or disputes with suppliers and vendors
  • Maintaining accurate and updated records of procurement activities, contracts, suppliers and vendors
  • Preparing and presenting reports on procurement performance, costs and savings
  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement objectives and requirements
