- Good understanding of risks associated with welding, lifting operations, working at height, and confined spaces.
- Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and incident tracking/reporting systems.

Job Summary:
The Safety Engineer is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental practices across the factory and project sites. The role ensures compliance with safety standards, promotes a culture of safety among workers, and minimizes risks related to equipment, operations, and erection activities in the prefabricated steel building manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across the factory and erection sites.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or control risks.
- Monitor and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
- Organize and deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and suggest preventive measures.
- Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and documentation required for compliance and audits.
- Ensure proper signage, safety devices, and emergency equipment are available and functional.
- Coordinate with department heads to implement safety measures without disrupting operations.
- Promote a safety-first culture among staff, contractors, and visitors.
