  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting software, and office management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skill in English and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Finance and Administration, preferably 4 years in a similar role.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Finance & Admin Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations and administrative functions of the organization. This role ensures that financial policies and procedures are in place, prepares financial reports, manages budgets, and coordinates administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct financial analysis and recommend improvements to optimize cost efficiency and overall fund management.
  • Ensure compliance with Tax & VAT laws and other relevant statutory requirements.
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist with the annual audit process.
  • Ensure adherence of the organizational policies and practices in financial, administrative reporting.
  • Identify areas of financial and operational risk and work on mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee administrative tasks, including office management, procurement, and facilities management.
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective functioning of office operations.
  • Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Coordinate office supplies and inventory management, ensuring resources are available for operational needs.
  • Streamline current administrative practices for smoother implementation and gather relevant data for programmatic decision making.
