Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities: The Head of Finance & Accounts is responsible for overseeing the financial health of an organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Monitor budget vs actual performance
- Financial Reporting
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Comply with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow, banking, and investments
- Forecast fund requirements and optimize working capital
- Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Ensure tax, VAT, and legal compliance

- Supervise finance team
