Responsibilities & Context
Job Purpose:
The Case Manager will provide psychosocial support (PSS), case management, and facilitate health and vocational initiatives while promoting gender equality and community engagement.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and assess cases of women and girls needing psychosocial support or protection services.
- Provide survivor-centered case management services, ensuring confidentiality, dignity, and safety.
- Develop and implement individual case plans, conduct regular follow-up, and update records.
- Refer clients to appropriate service providers (medical, legal, shelter, livelihood, etc.) and track referral outcomes.
- Ensure proper documentation of each case following organizational and donor guidelines.
- Establish trustful relationships with women and girls accessing the center.
- Provide emotional support and practical information to empower survivors.
- Facilitate group-based PSS sessions and awareness-raising activities.
- Maintain updated referral pathways and build strong networks with external service providers.
- Coordinate with GBV actors, health, protection, and legal service providers for holistic case support.
- Attend case management meetings and protection coordination forums as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and registers.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports, case studies, and data as required.
- Track progress and ensure quality standards in case handling.
- Participate in internal trainings and refresher courses on GBV, PSS, and safeguarding.
- Contribute to building capacity of volunteers and peer educators on protection and referral mechanisms.
- Participate in community outreach and awareness sessions to prevent GBV and promote available services.
- Help identify protection concerns and gaps through community feedback.
Safeguarding and Ethical Standards:
- Adhere to organizational safeguarding policies and ensure a safe environment.
- Report any safeguarding concerns or GBV incidents according to the protocol.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical conduct in all client interactions.
