Responsibilities & Context
To ensure internal compliance to local laws, codes of conducts, internal policies, programs, procedures, and job instructions related to Environment, Health, and Safety through the implementation of training programs and execution of audits both internal and external.
- Meet the quality system (GQS) requirements related to his/her job functions.
- Understanding by quality system: Documentation, work method, and internal and external customer expectations related to a process, product, or service.
- To execute and to make sure the dispositions of Environment, Health and Safety are being complied.
- Comply and ensure all ISO 45001 requirements
- Comply and ensure the local and corporate legal requirements related to the Health and Safety
- Coordinate the implement of the risk analysis for all designations.
- Evaluate and select the personal protective equipment for the employees
- Coordinate the monthly meeting of HS committee.
- Update action plans resulting from internal and external audits.
- Participate in compliance audits and ensure the implementation of resultant corrective / preventive action plans.
- Authorize Safety Permits for special activities like hot work, confined space work & work at height procedure
- Investigate job related accidents and ensure the implementation of resultant corrective / preventive action plans.
- Communicate Lost Time Accidents to the legal applicable entities
- Coordinate to obtain legal permits applicable to the facility (Ex, fire license)
- Coordinate the organization and training of the emergency brigades.
- Coordinate the organization of fire evaluation drills as per schedule.
- Report to the Ministry of Labor the activities performed related to safety like accident report, fire drill report and safety equipment’s report
- Follow up inspections of ERT – fire extinguishers and fire fighting system, fire alarms. (Monthly)
- Follow up designs and approvals for FPS & FDS.
- Perform any other operation-related function indicated by immediate supervisor.
