Responsibilities & Context
- Address all environmental issues of the factory including ETP management.
- Maintain necessary communication with the DOE for license & ETP sample.
- Monitor ETP Operation, ETP process control & ETP Lab testing.
- Develop routine procedures to maintain brand MRSL/RSL strictly to maintain production lead time.
- Make a strategic plan to evaluate, ensure, and monitor environmental regulations and permits required for operations.
- Communicate with various buyers to ensure sustainable production.
- Lead trainer for training associated with ETP, environment, and chemicals.
- Facilitate the overall capacity building of facilities and people related to chemicals and the environment.
- Ensure the collection of original MSDS, TDS, guarantee letters, and other certificates from suppliers. Follow APEO/AP/AZO/FORMALDEHYDE Guidelines.
- Perform random on-site audits in the chemical store, sub-store, chemical kitchen, and spot removing room to ensure all work is going under compliance.
- Arrange & maintain all ECR-related Documents for Environmental Compliance accordingly.
- Conduct Environmental and Chemical Risk Assessment and confirm CAP.
- Coordinate chemical suppliers through the supply chain to ensure the Chemical Restriction List & Implementation Toolkit. Work especially for INDITEX, Bestseller, KAIBI, Lindex, Verner, Primark, H&M & C&A buyers.
- Take care of all kinds of Environment, Energy, and Chemical related projects like Oeko-Tex 100, Detox to Zero, Bhive, Pact, or any other projects offer from any Buyer end.
- Chemical and Energy Audits and prepare required corrective action for different audit findings related to the Environment.
- Develop SOP, Policy, Procedure, Preparation for Chemical, Environment Management Operation, Chemical Flow and ECO Mapping, Risk Assessment, etc.
- Develop, manage, and maintain EMS-related & relevant documentation.
- Properly check ETP merchantries.
- Any kind of work assignment given by management.
- Provide daily updates and reports to management on all of the above tasks.
