- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Prior experience working in apparel manufacturing facilities is a must.
- Proficiency in delivering infrastructure related mechanical projects in RMG.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, HVAC systems, utility and other mechanical components.
- Proven record of mechanical and plumbing planning, design, drawing and plans in any RMG infrastructure.
- Proven record of successfully delivering mechanical and plumbing projects in any RMG infrastructure.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using mechanical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities & Context
- Design and Drawing: Develop detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Project Implementation: Manage the end-to-end implementation of mechanical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement of materials, and coordination with contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Supervision: Supervise construction activities, conduct regular site visits, and monitor progress to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of construction workmanship and materials, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence, to facilitate effective communication and project tracking.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal departments, external contractors, consultants, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of any issues.
- Ensure projects are completed following the designs, drawings and quality standards provided by consultants.
- Ensure projects are completed on time.
