Responsibilities & Context
- Inspect incoming raw materials (fabrics, trims, accessories) to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conduct in-line and end-of-line inspections during different stages of garment production.
- Check for defects such as stitching errors, incorrect measurements, fabric flaws, and color discrepancies
- Verify that garments conform to approved samples and technical specifications.Use measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, rulers) and inspection equipment for accurate quality checks.
- Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
- Identify quality issues and work with production supervisors to implement corrective actions.
- Follow AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) sampling procedures.
- Can require to participate in pre-production meetings to understand buyer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company quality standards.
