- Proficiency in design and drafting software (ETABS, AutoCAD, STAAD.
- Pro, SAFE, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities & Context
- Designing structural systems (e.g., beams, slabs, columns, foundations) using software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or STAAD.
- Conducting load analysis (dead, live, wind, seismic) in accordance with BNBC and other relevant codes.
- Preparing detailed design reports, drawings, and structural calculation sheets.
- Coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and MEP teams to ensure structural compatibility in design and execution.
- Inspecting on-site work to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Monitoring construction processes, ensuring safety and structural integrity.
- Performing material testing and evaluating the quality of construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, aggregates).
- Assisting in retrofit design or structural assessment of existing buildings (if required).Communicating with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies for project approvals and updates.
- Preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and project handovers.
- Able to handle all the documents as well as of RSC/Accord requirements.
