Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy MIS Officer to manage and enhance our Management Information System (MIS). The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting data operations, system maintenance, and regulatory reporting—particularly in the context of the Credit Information Bureau (CIB) and Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA).
1. CIB & Data Management:
- Collect, validate, and manage credit data from internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain scheduled MIS reports; ensure high standards of data quality and consistency.
- Support CIB reporting and system compliance.
- Write SQL queries to extract, summarize, and analyze data.
- Visualize data through dashboards, charts, and presentations.
2. Field & Operations Support:
- Provide remote/on-site IT and MIS support to field teams.
- Train staff on MIS tools and data protocols.
- Monitor system performance and maintain infrastructure.
- Optimize workflows.
3. Regulatory & MRA Reporting:
- Prepare and submit reports in line with regulatory standards (CIB, MRA).
- Ensure timely submission and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and reviews.
