Education

Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience

Fluent in English & Bangla (both written and verbal).

Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or sourcing.

Strong knowledge of LC opening, tracking, and documentation.

Expertise in cost analysis and negotiation.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (charts, reports, data analysis).

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Core job responsibilities

Manage end-to-end supply chain operations for plastic packaging manufacturing, from sourcing to final delivery.
Handle supplier selection, price negotiations, and purchase order finalization.
Initiate and manage Letter of Credit (LC) processes including opening, amendments, tracking, and closure.
Monitor and track international shipments; coordinate with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
Oversee customs clearance and ensure timely in-house Material Receipt Report (MRR) generation.
Maintain accurate documentation for procurement, import, LC, and local purchases.
Monitor inventory levels and execute timely reordering of critical raw and packaging materials.
Manage local procurement activities, including vendor follow-up and paperwork.
Coordinate with buyers for order planning, delivery schedules, and updates.
Support business development through supplier engagement and cost optimization initiatives.
