Responsibilities & Context
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and ensure achievement through effective planning and execution.
- Design and oversee territory-wise sales plans to maximize market coverage and penetration.
- Evaluate and adjust strategies based on performance analytics and market dynamics.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, manage, and mentor regional and area sales teams across the country.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set individual KPIs.
- Provide training and development programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and accountable sales culture.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across regions.
- Expand dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks nationwide.
- Develop key account management strategies for high-value clients.
- Explore emerging markets and introduce new product lines.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service and communication.
- Oversee client retention programs and strategies to drive repeat business.
- Act as a point of escalation for high-level client issues and negotiations.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities and performance metrics.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and logistics to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and delivery.
- Optimize resource allocation, budgeting, and ROI analysis for sales initiatives.
Marketing & Promotion
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine marketing strategies.
- Support brand positioning and awareness initiatives at the national level.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities.
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Lead high-stakes negotiations for large contracts and pricing agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and profit margin objectives.
- Establish long-term business contracts and strategic partnerships.
