Responsibilities & Context
IE Officer/Senior will be responsible for designing production layouts and processes that increase productivity, eliminate wastefulness and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards within the organization.
- Analyze daily production data to identify inefficiencies and suggest immediate corrective actions.
- Balance the line to ensure minimum Work – In – Process.
- Conduct motion studies to streamline worker movements and improve productivity.
- Design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to point up maximum efficiency using IE method/tools.
- Identify & eliminate bottlenecks that delay production associated schedules to meet the ultimate standards and initiate simplification in the overall production process.
- Train workers with easy & distinctive methods to develop a skilled workforce and initiate skill tests for ongoing operators.
- Monitor workers’ performance; Operator’s skill test & skill matrix preparation.
- Hourly Individual Target/production monitoring and take necessary action.
- Lost time recording(NPT), Efficiency Calculation, Problem Study, Develop Productivity.
- Ensure DHU (Defects per Hundred Unit) & Non-productive time calculation.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operators to implement process improvement.
