Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • PGD HRM, CHRP & Compliance-related certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and international compliance standards.

Experience

  • 10 to 16 years

Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, on boarding, training & development, performance management, employee engagement, and grievance handling.
  • Drive HR policy implementation in line with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and monitor manpower planning and workforce optimization.
  • Guide the HR team in maintaining employee files, records, and database systems.
  • Promote a safe, fair, and motivating workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, BLA 2006 and BLR 2015, and all statutory regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor, fire, environmental, and other relevant legal frameworks.
  • Prepare the factory for buyer audits including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ACCORD, ALLIANCE, etc.
  • Maintain compliance certifications and follow up on CAP (Corrective Action Plan) closures.
  • Liaise with buyers, external auditors, and relevant authorities during compliance visits.
  • Coordinate internal and external social compliance and technical audits.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
  • Train staff and management on compliance requirements and company policies.
