Additional Requirements

Strong domain expertise in knitwear manufacturing and planning functions
Deep knowledge of T&A calendars, critical path management, and production cycles
Strong data analysis and forecasting ability
Proficiency in ERP systems.

Develop and manage the master production schedule (MPS) for knit garments based on order intake and capacity.
Coordinate with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure accurate order forecasts and timely material availability.
Monitor and control capacity planning, line allocation, and workflow balancing across production units.
Optimize planning tools and systems (ERP/MIS) to ensure real-time tracking and updates.
Track daily/weekly/monthly production targets and adjust plans as needed to avoid bottlenecks and delays.
Maintain close coordination with the cutting, sewing, finishing, and dispatch departments to ensure smooth execution.
Identify and resolve planning-related issues that may affect production timelines or delivery commitments.
Review and report on planning KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), efficiency, and lead time adherence.
Work with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories specific to knit styles.
Lead and mentor the planning team to build a culture of ownership, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
