Responsibilities & Context

The Merchandiser for the organization will be responsible for enhancing the visibility and appeal of our products across various dealer points and showrooms. This role involves visiting dealers, identifying branding opportunities, ensuring optimal product display, and representing the company at expos and events. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creativity, strong communication skills, and a strategic mindset to drive brand presence and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit all Display & Sales Centers, and Dealer points with a regularized schedule.
  • Ensure in all Display & Sales Centers, Dealer points, and Retailer shops the branding and display is up to date and regularly maintained.
  • Proactively arrange for these locations any upcoming branding and display material.
  • Prepare and maintain an annual budget for the execution of outlined activities.
  • Identify suitable locations for new Display & Sales Centers that maximize brand exposure and provide necessary market coverage.
  • Take the lead for planning new Display & Sales Centers, and renovation of old Display & Sales Centers.
  • Prepare and plan the layout of all Display & Sales Centers keeping them consistent with one another, with consideration to customer experience, product display, sales functions, branding guidelines, general practice for shop layout design, and location unique features.
  • With collaboration with the content creation team and where necessary external consultants, prepare the designs for the branding content and display furniture for specific Display & Sales Centers.
  • Maintain a budget for branding and display activities at each specific Display & Sales Centers.
  • Enlist vendors to execute display and branding activities at Display & Sales Centers. Provide them with briefings, negotiate with them the rates, place work orders upon obtaining financial approval, and follow the activity to ensure execution has taken place in line with the initial approved plan.
  • Work with and provide training to staff at Display & Sales Centers to ensure that product displays and branding are effectively communicated and understood.
  • Assess and report on product placement and presentation at dealer points, and ensure it is in line with branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with dealers to create appealing product displays that attract customer attention.
  • Identify opportunities for branding at Dealer points and Retailer shops, taking pictures, videos, and measurements necessary to execute such an activity.
  • With support from the content creation team and following branding guidelines, prepare and design the content for Dealer point branding.
  • Design any customized racks or furniture for Dealer spaces that is necessary for the execution of company branding.
  • Prepare a specific budget for each Dealer point branding activity, ensuring that it is in line with an annual budget.
  • Source and enlist vendors to execute dealer point branding. Provide them with briefings, negotiate with them the rates, place work orders upon obtaining financial approval, and follow the activity to ensure execution has taken place in line with the initial approved plan.
  • Design any general racks or furniture for mass distribution that showcase company branding and products.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Sales team to ensure exposure of the Company’s brand and products to all Corporate clients at their offices, project sites, events, etc.
  • Identify relevant exhibitions, expos and events where the Company’s products can be displayed, accounting for participation in these events in the annual budget.
  • Coordinate the logistics of attending these events, including booth setup, product transport, and promotional materials.
