Additional Requirements

- Expert command of ERP systems, specifically SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms, along with an in-depth understanding of revenue processes and funding operations

Responsibilities & Context
The Incumbent will lead the team of finance professionals, overseeing the accuracy and integrity of revenue recognition, driving efficient collections, and managing the company’s institutional funding strategies. This role requires strong financial acumen, the ability to handle and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data in Excel, and a flair for preparing compelling analytics and board-level presentations.
A key leadership mandate includes developing and motivating the team, managing performance, and building a robust second line by grooming a capable successor.
Revenue Assurance – Driving Accuracy and Control:
- Ensure end-to-end accuracy, integrity and timely billing process across all customer segments.
- Oversee monthly sales closing activities, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and timely ledger updates within the ERP system (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
- Lead initiatives to automate billing, reconciliation, and reporting processes to reduce manual errors and enhance productivity.
- Establish and enforce control mechanisms to identify revenue leakages and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic revenue assurance audits and drive continuous improvement of revenue assurance frameworks by delivering robust revenue analytics with insights derived from large data sets, both structured and unstructured.
- Oversee the collection strategy for all business lines, ensuring timely and efficient recovery of outstanding receivables.
- Analyze customer aging reports, identify risk areas, and take proactive measures to minimize bad debts.
- Develop and monitor KPIs such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), collection effectiveness index, and cash flow forecasts.
Corporate Finance – Securing and Optimizing Funds:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and NBFIs for working capital and project financing.
- Support ongoing negotiations with banks for working capital, term loans, overdraft facilities, other financial instruments and existing credit facilities.
- Ensure full documentation and timely disbursement of funds in line with compliance standards.
- Accurately compute and record interest income and expense as part of the closing process.
- Support financial planning with cash flow forecasts, funding utilization reports, and scenario analysis.
- Create professional presentations and financial dashboards for internal leadership, board meetings, and external stakeholders.
