Responsibilities & Context
One of the leading private commercial banks of the country is looking for qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Area Head- Corporate Banking, Chittagong.
Major Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by achieving defined targets and identifying new business opportunities for the Bank.
- Develop and structure asset and liability products tailored to client needs and market conditions.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of high-quality credit proposals.
- Actively participate in the credit approval process by presenting and defending cases to secure deal closures.
- Monitor the overall quality and performance of the credit portfolio.
- Conduct client visits and meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of their credit risk profiles and cash management requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to optimize limit utilization and deliver superior service.
- Identify and report any deviations from established procedures, credit limits, or policies, and obtain appropriate approvals where necessary.
- Lead and manage the corporate banking team to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with business units, retail branch managers, and support teams to ensure seamless and effective service delivery to corporate clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to corporate banking operations in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by senior management.
