Educational Qualification:

Experience:

- Experience working with marginalized communities, particularly in rural or underprivileged areas, is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of gender equality and social inclusion frameworks.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and report writing.
- Knowledge of the local context in the Tea Garden and Haor areas is an asset.

The Association for Socio-Economic Development (ASED HABIGONJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through sustainable development initiatives. With the financial assistance from ChildAid Network (CAN), Germany, ASED HABIGONJ will implement the 3-year Enhance Quality and Inclusive Primary Education (EQUIP) in Tea Garden and Haor Area Project in Bahubal upazila under Habiganj district.
The EQUIP project aims to improve the quality and inclusivity of primary education for marginalized children in the Tea Garden and Haor regions of Habiganj.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gender Inclusion Officer from female candidates for the EQUIP Project, which focuses on advancing quality and inclusive primary education and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure gender inclusivity in all project activities.
- Create and execute gender-inclusive activities within the project.
- Advocate for girls’ education and work to address barriers faced by girls and marginalized groups in accessing primary education.
- Conduct gender-sensitive training sessions for educators, community leaders, and project staff.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes with a gender lens, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Build partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders to promote gender equity in the Tea Garden and Haor areas.
- Prepare gender-focused reports and share insights with the project management team.
- Act as a resource person to support the integration of gender equity into project planning, implementation, and monitoring.
