Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement,

inventory management, production planning, logistics, and vendor coordination, supporting timely

delivery of raw materials and finished goods while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and weekly supply plans based on demand and production capacity.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and take corrective actions to improve reliability.
  • Source raw materials, packaging materials, and services as per specifications.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of paints, solvents, and hazardous materials.
  • Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and 3PL providers for smooth dispatch operations.
  • Create production schedules in coordination with manufacturing and planning teams.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to support production without delays.
  • Align supply chain activities with plant capacity and seasonal demand fluctuations.
  • Plan and manage outbound logistics for timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and route optimization.
  • Monitor delivery performance and resolve logistics issues with dispatches.
  • Generate reports for key supply chain metrics (OTIF, inventory turns, etc.).
  • Analyze data to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
