Responsibilities & Context
The Christian Cooperative Credit Union Limited, Dhaka is looking for an energetic and self-motivated Assistant Teacher for its Dhaka Credit Union School project. Position: Assistant Teacher (Math & Science) – (Male/Female)
Teach students the language of math and science.
Teach students how to apply mathematical principles to solve problems, including equations, word problems, statistics, and binomials and instructing lessons on science topics, such as biology, chemistry or physics.
Create instructional resources for use in the classroom and plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities.
Create projects designed to enhance lectures and lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year.
Maintain grade books and grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.
Read and stay abreast of current topics in education and utilize various curriculum resources.
Create positive educational climate for students to learn in.· Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, drawing etc.) to enhance students’ abilities by research, collect and compile the appropriate teaching material for the students.
Maintain a safe and clean class environment.
Evaluate students’ performance to make sure they are on the right learning track.
Coordinate with the parents and update them about their students’ performance regularly and answer their questions calmly.
Observe students’ interactions and promote the spirit of concord.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
