Requirements
Education

- FCA certification is highly preferred.
- Other acceptable professional qualifications include ACA, CPA, or ACCA (with substantial post-qualification experience).
- An MBA in Finance from a recognized institution will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context
BYSL Global Technology Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead and oversee the organization’s financial operations. This role requires strong leadership in managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial planning, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash flow management.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management processes.
- Oversee timely processing and documentation of all vendor bills, vouchers, employee payments, and petty cash.
- Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all financial data including vendor payments, employee benefits, utility expenses, bank and mobile banking transactions, etc.
- Conduct financial performance analysis of projects
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly receipt and payment statements, and monthly sales reconciliation reports
- Support and coordinate external and internal audit processes
- Submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports with accuracy and timeliness
