Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- An MBA from a reputed institution is preferred.
Additional Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience preferably in consumer electronics or home & kitchen appliances, with a strong track record in business growth and operational leadership.
- Experience working with manufacturing, distribution, and customer experience teams.
- Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Inventory & Demand Forecasting Tools
- Competitor Analysis Tools
- Deep knowledge of Bangladesh’s retail and export markets; experience with international market expansion is a plus.

Responsibilities & Context
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement long-term business strategies aligned with Walton’s vision and market dynamics.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and product diversification initiatives.
Business Development & Sales:
- Drive revenue growth by overseeing B2C and B2B sales, export strategies, and channel expansion.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Export teams to open new regional and international markets as well as set and achieve quarterly and annual sales and profitability targets.
- Spearhead global market entry strategies — including regulatory compliance, local partnerships, product localization, export pricing models, logistics efficiency standards, and after-sales support infrastructure for key regions (e.g., South Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Eastern Europe).
- Evaluate ROI for capital expenditures and new investments in production facilities or technology infrastructure.
Operational Excellence & Change Management:
- Monitor and optimize supply chain, production, and distribution performance in coordination with operations and implement data-driven decision-making frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business progress.
- Mentor and lead department heads (Sales, Marketing, Production, R&D) under the CBO’s purview and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Lead enterprise-wide change initiatives during business process redesign, digital transformation, or restructuring.
Financial Stewardship:
- Collaborate with the CFO to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, ROI on strategic initiatives, and operational margins.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and other stakeholders to align business strategies with organizational goals
Culture, Diversity & Talent Development:
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusivity across teams.
- Work with HR to attract, develop, and retain top talent, including succession planning for key leadership roles.
