Responsibilities & Context
- Plan daily finishing operations to ensure quality production and on-time delivery.
- Execute work plans in alignment with defined timelines and action strategies.
- Set up machine programs, parameters, and synchronizations to maximize capacity utilization.
- Supervise all activities of employees working on the finishing floor.
- Ensure all buyer requirements related to fabric appearance and lab test results are met.
- Carry out all compliance activities related to the finishing department.
- Ensure complete safety and security of all employees and machinery on the floor.
- Monitor and resolve all quality-related issues within the fabric finishing unit.
- Coordinate with other departments to achieve error-free and timely deliveries.
- Ensure all finishing tasks—such as labeling, pressing, and tagging—are completed on time.
- Manage process loss by analyzing input raw material vs. finished output to optimize results.
- Lead research and development activities in the fabric finishing area.
- Oversee shade management processes in the fabric finishing department.
