Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for skilled incumbent to join our team who has knowledge about purchasing Knit/Composite factory machine parts & other engineering items. Job responsibilities of this role include:
- To seek reliable vendors & suppliers and should have familiarity with product sourcing and vendor management.
- To develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- Sound knowledge of negotiation strategies, solid judgment along with decision-making and closing deals with optimal terms with various vendors or suppliers.
- Ability to analyze data and perform cost analysis, and benchmarking.
- Forecast price and market trends and figure out the supplier’s power to get on-time delivery of products, goods, or services.
- To keep all purchasing-related documents, quotations, work orders, bills, challan, etc.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- D&C loan arrangement & problematic issues & solve immediately.
- Monitoring on time shipment, Checking documents, forward to commercial & follow up until release based on ETD & ETA
- liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments, and customers.
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Negotiate and agree to contracts, monitoring contract management and service quality provided.
