Responsibilities & Context
Import Related Work:
- Responsible for all import related duties as per yearly bond entitlement database.
- LC open & Amendment.
- Checking Proforma Invoice for necessary correction with confirmation of HS code.
- Contact with Bank/ Financial intermediaries for Foreign Bank issues.
- Updating shipment position of import consignment.
- Reviewing draft Letters of Credit to ensure the absence of unacceptable or incorrect clauses.
- Communication with Bank about import documents & sending to CNF agent & updating Delivery status.
- Container/Cargo/Ship, Arrival/Berthing follow up.
- Verifying import documents—such as the Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Certificate of Origin—and making corrections if necessary; preparing and submitting draft/final shipping documents to the buyer.
- Import Document collection & Endorsements.
Export Related Work:
- Handle export documentation including LC/Contract, EXP taking under lien Bank & UP Submission.
- Liaise with lien banks to collect PRC (Proceeds Realization Certificate) and other required certificates for Customs purpose.
- Maintain accurate records of commercial transactions and related documentation (Bill & Invoice create in database & upload to software) along with Master Pl issue with statement update & Export LC statement update.
- Coordinate with logistics service providers, and internal departments for bulk goods delivery towards Chattogram, Cumilla & EPZ Area.
- Manage with internal departments to obtain required information & documents collection for creating timely commercial docs to submit towards customer acceptance / payment.
- Follow up on payment schedules & outstanding dues against submitted shipping bill / acceptance and assist in resolving billing discrepancies.
- Prepare commercial reports and maintain databases/spreadsheets.
- Bill Preparation with follow up payment of the different Stakeholders.
- Support export documentation and liaise with Customs Agents/CnF Agent (if applicable).
- Any others task assigned by the superior & Management.
- Communicate with the Insurance Service Provider & Courier along with docs collect.
- Any others task assigned by the superior & Management.
