Additional professional qualifications in areas such as literacy, numeracy, counselling or learning support.
15 years of experience in similar leadership roles, particularly experience in successfully setting up and establishing a new international curriculum K-12 school in an urban setting.
Outstanding achievement in terms of student enrolment, sustainability development, stakeholder management and communications, and establishing collaborative relationships with other schools and organizations.
A reputation as a respected educational leader and thinker with a record of inculcating academic excellence; introducing new ideas and approaches; and championing inclusion, diversity and pluralism.
Prior experience in South Asia will be preferred.
Experience in setting up a residential programme and/or experience in the hospitality industry would be an added advantage.

Head of Academies

The Head of Academy for the Aga Khan Academy in Dhaka will be the Chief Executive of the school, responsible for the realization of His Highness the Aga Khan’s vision. She/he will be tasked with championing the Academy, engaging actively in all aspects of its life, and inspiring and delivering the next phase of its development.
