Job Context:

Department: Dept of Medicine

Applications are invited on an urgent basis for this position in IAHS-H on the following terms and conditions:

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and physical examinations of patients;
  • Diagnose and treat common and complex medical conditions;
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments.
  • Assist in emergency procedures and critical care when required.
  • Provide care for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, including emergency department and pediatric wards.
  • Participate in educational activities such as lectures, seminars, and case discussions.
  • Supervise and mentor medical students and junior residents.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in Medicine.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, social workers, and other specialists.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports related to patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Engage in clinical research projects and contribute to research publications if applicable.
  • Participate in clinical trials and contribute to the advancement of medicine.
  • Any other task assigned by the authority.
