Responsibilities & Context
- Responsible for the import and export customs management of overseas factories (Bangladesh) including but not limited to:
- Customs clearance for import and export of local air and sea freight in Bangladesh, and responsible for overseas factory delivery;
- Carry out customs compliance management of overseas factories, skillfully use the customs codes, trade preferential policies and related tax rules of the host country, conduct tariff analysis and commodity classification audits on imported and exported goods, adopt legal and compliant preferential tariff rules, and ensure compliance. Reasonably reduce tariff costs under the premise of complying with regulations, and provide business analysis and decision-making basis for the busine
- Responsible for handling abnormal customs clearance of overseas factories and handling customs cases;
- Manage the local customs team, rationally plan and coordinate customs clearance agents and other suppliers, be responsible for daily local customs operations, reduce costs and increase efficiency, and optimize team operation efficiency and team building;
- Interpretation, analysis and implementation of overseas regional customs policies;
- Customs compliance management, control the compliance of customs affairs of overseas factories, including but not limited to customs code classification, import and export compliance access, customs valuation, use of origin, and supplier management effectively
- Other international trade, import and export related work.
