Responsibilities & Context
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for automobiles, ensuring functionality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Assist in prototype development, testing, and validation of automotive parts and systems.
- Coordinate with production, quality control and R&D teams to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during manufacturing and provide effective engineering solutions.Perform durability, performance, and safety tests in compliance with automotive standards and regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of engineering projects while maintaining cost and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain documentation and technical reports as per company and regulatory requirements.
- Work with suppliers and vendors for material sourcing, tooling, and component development.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in automobile engineering.
