Responsibilities & Context
- Analyzing PR (Purchase Requisitions), Preparing CS (Comparative Statement), and Issuing of PO (Purchase Orders) and following it up till final delivery.
- Establishing a solid base of suppliers, vendors & service providers for supplies, spares, consumables, and commercial service providers.
- Check & verify the bills, and forward them to the HOD for approval. Maintain the record related to verified bills.
- Ensure stakeholder coordination to check the excess stock, slow-moving items, non-moving items, dormant items, expired items, expiring items, re-order level & minimum stock level, etc to ensure the smooth inventory control.
- Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability.
- Responsible to execute and comply Standard Operating Procedure for Master Frame Agreements (MFA) including finalizing local commercial terms and agreements, purchase and delivery, etc.
- Implement effective strategies for cost efficiency and process optimization in the procurement management system.
- Responsible for issuing PO/WO in favor of vendors for goods and services and ensuring proper terms & conditions are incorporated based on procured product/service requirements.
- Ensure regular market visits for monitoring the market price of materials, updating market intelligence, competent vendor enlisting’s, etc.
- Develop good vendor relations and review their rating. So that reliability is adequately guaranteed.
- Capturing all data related to procurement (from demand planning to purchase) and ensuring performance visibility to the end customer.
- Coordinate with Finance, Store, Production, and other operational stakeholder to ensure the smooth working of SCM value chain process.
- Any other tasks as assigned and entrusted by the management time to time.
