Additional Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment accessories.
- Good understanding of store documentation and stock ledger systems.
- Ability to lead and manage a team efficiently.
- Knowledge of audit and compliance (especially buyer audits).
- 4–6 years of experience in fabric/accessories store management in a garments factory.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
Responsibilities & Context
- Take responsibilities for overall operation of store activities.
- To maintain inventory of spare parts, raw materials, finished goods, dyes/chemical, wastage and general store equipment.
- Receive & issue of raw material to production floor for production.
- Deliver the finished product and wastage materials to concern units/buyer/others party as per DO (Delivery Order).
- Maintain ledger/software for store.
- Maintain proper inventory levels through timely issuance and stock reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the merchandising, planning, procurement, and production teams.
- Maintain cleanliness, proper labeling, and safe storage practices.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
- Ensure store records and documents are properly maintained and audited.
- Train and supervise store staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Follow compliance and safety standards as per buyer and factory requirements.
