- Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, literature, writing skills, and creative writing techniques.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of language, literature, and creative expression in students.
Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student learning.
- Teach English language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Introduce students to a variety of literary genres and texts, fostering an appreciation for literature.
- Skilled in teaching creative writing techniques and guiding students in the development of their writing skills and creative voice.
- Encourage active student participation in classroom discussions, activities, and projects.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and creative writing projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students’ academic and personal growth.
