Overview of the Job:
As the Customer Care Representative you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to policyholders and potential clients. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries, providing accurate information on products and services, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and efficient service over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers, provide support and solve queries regarding policy details, claims, and other services.
- Information Provision: Provide detailed and accurate information about Shanta Life Insurance PLC’s products, services, policies, and processes.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot customer issues effectively, ensure timely and satisfactory resolution while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Data Entry: Record customer interactions and details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken in the relevant database systems.
- Follow-up: Conduct follow-ups on customer inquiries that require further investigation or are pending resolution, maintaining a proactive communication channel.
- Product Promotion: Inform customers about new products, features or promotions that may be relevant to their needs or policy status.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers on their experience, identifying opportunities for service improvement and escalating issues as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Claims, Underwriting, and Sales to ensure a seamless customer experience and relay any complex cases as required.
