Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production issues and provide solutions to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Ensure technical specifications and garment construction meet buyer standards.
  • Train and guide production teams on machinery, technical adjustments, and finishing techniques.
  • Reduce line layout time and pre set up special machine before line layout.
  • Monitor pre-production sample (PPS) and size set approval processes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and safety practices.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for complex garment constructions.
  • Provide technical training and up skilling sessions low skill workers and line supervisors.
  • Analyze time and motion studies to improve production efficiency.
  • Review technical packs, CAD files, and sample evaluations for new orders.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising and product development team during pre-production.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on the production floor in real-time.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production delays and recommend process engineering solutions.
  • Work closely with pattern makers and sample teams to ensure fit accuracy.
  • Cross check sewing thread and other lace, elastic consumption.
  • Ensure Proper Method & Time Study, Ensure Proper line balancing & confirm daily line-wise production target.
  • Identify & eliminate bottlenecks that delay production associated schedules to meet the ultimate standard and initiate simplification in the overall production process.
  • To help supervisors in line balancing during high operator absenteeism.
  • New recruited operator assessment.
  • New Process Development.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Make improvement data daily basis and inform to top management.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production delays and recommend process engineering solutions
