Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a Pattern Master in outerwear garment production (e.g., jackets, parkas, technical apparel).
  • Strong proficiency in Gerber, Lectra, and Winda.
  • Deep understanding of outerwear garment construction, including seam-sealing and technical detailing.
  • Ability to independently prepare precise patterns with a strong sense of fit, function, and finish.
  • Experience in providing factory-level technical support and resolving pattern-related issues.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to factory locations as required.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop accurate garment patterns independently using Gerber, Lectra, and Winda software.
  • Prepare and manage development, SMS, size set, and pre-production (PPS) patterns as per buyer specifications.
  • Create efficient markers and patterns to optimize fabric consumption and reduce production costs.
  • Plot and draw patterns with precision, ensuring accurate garment measurements.
  • Review and verify patterns to ensure cutting accuracy and measurement compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development and technical teams to meet buyer and production requirements.
  • Ensure accurate booking and consumption calculation for fabric, trims, thread, and zippers.
  • Handle style-wise pattern designing and grading to maintain zero-error cutting.
  • Maintain and organize CAD pattern archives for easy access and documentation.
  • Participate in technical and pre-production (PP) meetings to align pattern and technical solutions with production needs.
  • Visit factories frequently to provide hands-on guidance and support for pattern, technical, and consumption-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with production and development teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency in bulk production without compromising quality.
