Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure all supply chain activities follow legal requirements and industry standards.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Support the procurement head and buyers in sourcing the right products.
- Visit markets to find and collect specific products as needed.
- Gather quotations from various suppliers and vendors for comparison.
- Prepare Comparative Statements (CS) and create Purchase Orders (PO).
- Use computer software to monitor the movement of goods from origin to delivery.
- Adopt new technologies and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the sector.
