Responsibilities & Context
Context:
We are looking for Store Keeper for Sylhet Imperial Hospital Ltd. with at least 2-3 years proven experiences in Store Keeper (Hospital).
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of all incoming goods and materials.
- Maintain an organized storage area and ensure safe and hygienic storage practices.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams for smooth operations.
- Record all stock movements (inbound and outbound) using inventory management software.
- Issue supplies to departments based on approved requisitions, ensuring proper documentation and stock control.
- Monitor stock levels regularly to avoid overstocking or stock outs; initiate timely reorder requests.
- Conduct routine stock audits and physical inventory checks; reconcile discrepancies with records.
- Maintain accurate stock registers, and purchase records.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department for delivery follow-ups and vendor communications.
- Ensure all perishable items are stored at the correct temperature and used before expiry.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, especially in storing chemicals, and fragile items.
- Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly inventory and consumption reports to management.
- Prevent misuse, theft, or damage of store items by enforcing strict stock control measures.
- Report immediately regarding any adverse situation.
- Perform all other related duties.
