Responsibilities & Context
The Fabric Planner (Bulk) is responsible for managing the bulk fabric planning process to ensure efficient and timely production of textile products.
This role involves coordinating with various departments, factories and fabric production units, forecasting fabric needs, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Required Technical Competencies and exposure.
- Knowledge of the textile production process yarn to fabric.
- Understanding of the principles of planning and scheduling.
- Ability to analyze production data and draw logical conclusions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience with computer-aided production planning and scheduling software (ERP/MRP).
